In my role as a Brooklyn Park City Councilman, I consistently supported our law enforcement and fire personnel through contract negotiations and approvals, community relations through difficult times, and support of them as individuals in their roles keeping us safe and working hard, despite increased gun violence and domestic calls. As your State Representative, I will continue to vigorously support public safety. #endorsedbycommunity #russellforhouse #20yearsinthedistrict #ExperienceMatters #wynfredforhouse #PublicSafetyFirst See MoreSee Less

It's official: I have officially filed to run for the Minnesota House of Representatives! I am running because I believe in a future where women's reproductive rights, mental health, public safety, and investment in K-12 education are addressed with equity at the core. With my experience as a former Brooklyn Park City Council Member and over twenty years living and working in the district, I am prepared to lead and fight for District 38A. My long-standing commitment to doing great things in the district, like founding ACER, Inc. and serving on several city-county-run commissions, makes me the only choice to hold this seat after State Rep Mike Nelson's retirement. Every day, as I knock on doors, it becomes increasingly evident that experience matters. See MoreSee Less

🇺🇸 The community that endorses Wynfred Russell for the Minnesota House of Representatives came out BIG for the Tater Daze parade on Saturday! Wynfred and his team had so much fun meeting new people, young and old and seeing longtime friends and residents of Brooklyn Park that Wynfred represented on the city council. Living in District 38A for over 20 years and his long-standing commitment to doing great things in the city make him the only choice to hold this seat after the retirement of State Rep, Mike Nelson. Every day, as he is out knocking on doors, it is more and more evident that the endorsement of the community is what truly matters. Please reach out if you would like a lawn sign or to host a driveway meet and greet with Wynfred and your neighbors. Thank you for your support! 🇺🇸 See MoreSee Less

Our thoughts and prayers are with Officer Jamal Mitchell's family and loved ones and the families of the other victims during this difficult time. Officer Mitchell's courage and commitment to protecting our community will never be forgotten. This senseless act of violence is profoundly reprehensible and will not be normalized. Rest in Peace. I had the pleasure of engaging some residents last night. It’s moments like these that remind me why I love serving our community. They shared some incredible insights about gun violence, supporting law enforcement, providing resources for local businesses, improving our schools, and I’m excited to take these ideas to St. Paul as your next Representative. #communitysupport #dflvalues #20yearsinthedistrict #experiencematters #russellforhouse See MoreSee Less
